What's new for all of you?

Here is a spot where you can give us updates on you and your family.

Do you have any...
...
good news?
...ideas for activities?
...thoughts from your studies (scriptures, featured conference talks, etc.)?

Feel free to add a comment and let us know what is new for you.

I have an idea for an activity:

Everyone brings their clothes/other items that are they no longer use, and we see if we can't make one sister's trash another sister's treasure! This may be a selfish idea since I'm moving soon and have a lot to get rid of, but I think it would be fun!

One of my favorite activities that was done a few years ago was just a few sisters with special expertise that taught mini classes. There were 3 or 4 classes and we went through rotations to each of them. I remember two of the classes were on patio/porch gardening and how to make 30 meals in a day. It was really fun.

Also, maybe we could have an activity about blogging. We could talk about how to start blogs, tips for blogging safely, ideas for cute blogs and what to write about, how to track your site's hits, etc. I just love seeing everyone's blogs from our ward and getting to learn more about everyone. It would be fun to see even more blogs.

Hey, I didn't know there were so many bloggers in the ward--it's kind of fun to see what everyone is up to and keep in touch. We started a blog about a month ago, too (I know, real smart to start blogging when you're trying to write a thesis...).
